Chinese Glance ("the app") is made by Seung Hwang ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it collects nothing.
What we collect
Nothing. Chinese Glance has no user accounts, runs no analytics or tracking, and sends no learning data to any server we operate.
What stays on your device
Your vocabulary progress, favorites, saved sentences, streaks, settings and widget content are stored locally on your iPhone, in the app's private container that is shared only with the app's own widgets. You can export this data as a JSON file or erase it at any time from Settings → Your data inside the app. Deleting the app deletes the data.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. No notification data is sent anywhere.
Audio
Pronunciation audio is bundled with the app or generated on your device. Nothing is recorded.
Children
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If the app's data practices ever change, this page will be updated and the date above revised.
